Hi all,

In the DevCall of Saturday 12 March 2022 there was a mention about Gitcoin and the way they assign grants, called Quadratic Funding.

I want to start this conversation thread to discuss Quadratic Funding to help people interested in the subject understand the mathematically optimal way to fund public goods in a democratic community, as it is mentioned in the following link:

I hope we can have an interesting discussion and maybe use Quadratic Funding to optimize the Mango Grants process.

But what about Sybil attacks?

We can design validations to prevent Sybil attacks.

I think no system will be always perfect, but understanding how the quadratic funding has a positive effect in the funding of public goods may be good for desingnig better grants mechanisms.
